Admission Requirements
Admission requirements for AdvantageVT-Master’s are identical to those participating departments generally require except for English language.
- An undergraduate degree from an accredited institution of higher learning. In most cases, a closely related undergraduate degree is necessary.
- A minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) or above is required for consideration for admission into most majors. Some programs require higher GPAs.
Admission decisions are made by the individual departments represented in the program and the Graduate School. Students who are selected for admission to a program will exceed the following minimum requirements plus any additional requirements imposed by the program. Admission requirements are detailed on department websites and in the Graduate Catalog. Prospective students are strongly advised to review the individual program requirements for their desired major prior to application.
Once accepted into their degree program, students must apply directly to the Advantage VT-Master’s Program separately.
