College of Agriculture and Life Sciences
The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences provides an education in the science and business of life. Basic life sciences and animal, plant, and food sciences – not to mention environmental sciences, human health and nutrition, and economic development – are just some of the choices available to you as an undergraduate major. If your ultimate goal is to apply to professional medical schools such as veterinary medicine, physical therapy, dentistry, pharmacy, and graduate, you will want to explore the excellent pre-health preparation offered in many of the college’s majors. Excellent faculty and academic advisors are eager to work with you. You will also find more than 30 student organizations and nationally-competitive teams in the college. The college offers the educational environment and learning experiences graduates need in order to develop skills for addressing the challenges facing society and the world today. You may work beside scientists in their laboratories or participate in internships with business or industry

Exercise and Health Sciences
This flexible major prepares students for a variety of careers in medicine, health, and wellness. Students find the major meets most admission requirements for graduate programs in health professions such as physical therapy, physician assistant, and dentistry, among others.

Program Requirements
In order to advance in the Liberal Arts Pathway from semester to semester, all students must achieve a 3.0 or better grade-point average in their credit-bearing courses. Students must also maintain a minimum 70 percent in their English for Academic Purposes courses and University Success Seminars.
